Taste Test: Salad Dressings

The F&W staff tasted 18 creamy supermarket salad dressings and rated these three best.

Wish-Bone Chunky Blue Cheese
STAFF COMMENT "Tangy blue cheese flavor. Perfect for buffalo wings."
INTERESTING BITE These dressings originated in 1948 at the popular Midwest restaurant The Wish-Bone.

Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese
STAFF COMMENT "Silky and fresh tasting."
INTERESTING BITE The original dressing gets its name from the now defunct Marie's Cafe in Greenwood, Washington.

Ken's Steak House Creamy Caesar
STAFF COMMENT "Flavorful anchovy taste."
INTERESTING BITE Ken's dressings are available in 400-gallon restaurant jugs—enough for about 51,000 servings.
