Indian Summer

Bianco is a vanilla-spiced sweet vermouth from Italy. Freemans co-owner William Tigertt uses it in his spin on a dry Manhattan, which, he says, "is mild and pleasant."

Ingredients

1. Ice
2. 1 1/2 ounces bianco vermouth
3. 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
4. 1 lemon twist

Directions

1. Fill two-thirds of a pint glass with ice. Add the bianco vermouth and bourbon and stir well. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the lemon twist.
