Sesame-Soy Rub

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  2. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  3. 2 tablespoons Japanese mirin
  4. 2 tablespoons canola oil
  5. 1 tablespoon Asian sesame oil
  6. 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  7. 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  8. 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
  9. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. In a mini food processor, grind the sesame seeds to a coarse powder. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the soy sauce, mirin, canola oil, sesame oil, lemon juice, orange juice, orange zest and cayenne.

Notes

    One Serving: 170 cal, 15 gm fat, 1.6 gm saturated fat, 8 gm carb, 1 gm fiber.

    Grill Match: White-fleshed fish, chicken.
