Vegas is known for having scads of discount outlets, but the king of them all is 35 miles west, in the border town of Primm. Fashion Outlets Las Vegas has outposts from 100 stores including Burberry, Versace, Neiman Marcus, and Tod’s (check the table in front, where $350 loafers sell for $95). And this being Vegas, it’s also connected to—what else?—a casino. Husbands and bored children will appreciate the Primm Valley Resort & Casino’s two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses and the Desperado roller-coaster.
Tip: No need to rent a car: a $15 round-trip shuttle leaves from the MGM or Planet Hollywood every hour.
